The immense glaciers are a unique feature of the project -- Up to 700 meters (2,300 feet) of vertical drop of glacier skiing are available throughout the summer, at elevations in the 3,000 meters (9,900 feet) range. Because the valley bases are above the permanent winter snowline, the winter vertical drop of over 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) is truly skiable.
