These overhead views provide a good overview of the geography of the area. It is also easy to distinguish how vast and varied the skiable terrain is, and how much of it is above treeline. Because it is entirely above the permanent winter snowline, the vertical drop of over 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) is truly skiable. In summer, an amazing 700 meters (2,300 feet) vertical drop of glacier skiing is available.
